GENTLEMEN WARRIORS BYLAWS

MEMBERSHIP STATUS: Members that are inactive for 30 days without any contact with their Platoon Commander, Senior NCO or other officer will have their membership revoked. In order to maintain your membership while away for an extended period of time, contact your Platoon Commander, Senior NCO or any other officer and inform them of your intentions. You may do this via Team Speak or using the forums Private Message system (PM). Should your membership be revoked you may reapply for consideration of rejoining Gentlemen Warriors.

PROMOTIONS: Criteria for promotions will be based on a number of factors, i.e. game participation, longevity character and most importantly, the responsibilities a member takes on beyond playing the game. Since there are a limited number of opportunities within any business, organization or club the same holds true with Gentlemen Warriors. As GW grows we would expect that the opportunities for members to accept additional responsibilities will grow as well.

When a GW member accepts additional responsibilities that member will receive a promotion, if applicable, commensurate with that responsibility. To be clear, promotions within GW are not to endow certain members with power over other members, but to maintain structure throughout the GW organization and provide a chain of command within that structure. Members that accept additional duties are not only accountable to the leadership of Gentlemen Warriors but to all members to carry out those duties in a professional and ethical manner.

As opportunities become available for additional responsibilities, members will be invited or may volunteer to take on these additional responsibilities. In the event there is more than one volunteer for a certain opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, the senior staff will make the final decision as to the assignment of those responsibilities. In no way would that decision indicate that one person is thought more of than the other person or not qualified for that position. To the best of their ability all factors will be considered by the senior staff when selecting individuals for additional responsibilities.

POSTING IN FORUMS: Members may post to any forum available to them under the topic that is most relevant to their posting. In the event there is a posting from the public or a member about an alledged rule violation, being kicked, banned or other issue, members are not to make postings that either prosecute or defend that posting. In addition members may not state that they are sure it will be investigated or that it was an oversight, etc. Our admins strive to be fair, impartial and objective. Any postings, taking either side, question the integrity of our admins, may cause ill will among the members or guests and be detrimental to the gaming experience. If you have something to report or add concerning these issues contact the appropriate member via Team Speak or Private Message. Leave the responses to these types of postings to the members who shoulder those responsibilities and have the authority to facilitate change if required.

TEAM SPEAK and IN-GAME CHAT: Members are required to be on Team Speak while gaming on the =GW= Server/s. Members and Guests in the "GWHQ Lobby" or other "Gaming Channel/s" of teamspeak must use push-to-talk. You may use voice activated when on any other channel during meetings, one on one conversations, technical help etc.

While speaking on Team Speak (TS) or In-game Chat (IGC) you are to be respectful of others. Please refrain from talking about players suspected of using cheats or hacks while on the GWHQ Lobby channel, regardless of who is or who isn't on Team Speak at the time. If you suspect any foul play, please contact an Admin and move to a private channel. If anyone deems a player's game-play style is questionable please refrain from discussing that on Lobby channel as well. Conversations of this nature should be conducted on a private channel or contact an officer if you require some assistance with an issue.

Do not ask for Admins, members or other visitors or guests to spectate another player while on TS or IGC. If you have an issue with any player in-game or otherwise follow the above guidelines, "contact and Admin, your platoon SNCO, platoon Commander or other officer and move to a private channel.

Please remember the "GWHQ Lobby" channel is a Welcome Channel where anyone accessing the GW teamspeak will gain access. We want our members, guests and visitors to feel comfortable and welcome while in the "GWHQ Lobby".

Even though we are a mature server, you should exercise common sense when it comes to your language. Disrespectful, foul or lewd language will absolutely not be tolerated. Disrespectful language of any kind directed at a GW member or guest is prohibited. Gentlemen Warriors has a "ZERO TOLERANCE" policy when it comes to racist remarks, or vulgar language.

GAMEPLAY: Please be mindful of each others game play. A player's style of game play may not be your style of game play. Each member, visitor and guests is entitled to play his/her style of game within the Gentlemen Warriors rules and bylaws without fear of intimidation, mockery, whining or complaining from other individuals about their style. Members, visitors and guests are to refrain from any such comments that may be construed as any of the aforementioned forms of ridicule, humiliation, etc.

CHEATING: Glitching, using hacks or any other form of cheating will not be tolerated. Members found to be doing so will have their membership revoked. Remember, this applies to all PC games whether or not you are on a GW server or not. If you use GW resources, i.e. Teamspeak while playing on non-GW servers this still applies. Members that have their membership revoked may be banned from the GW servers, teamspeak and any other GW resource that were previously available to them as a GW member. GW has strived to build a reputation amongst our peers in the gaming community as a fair and honest gaming site. We expect that our members play the game fairly and honestly and strive to uphold the GW reputation. Wear your tags with pride.

ADVERTISING: Members, visitors, guests or anyone having access to the GW forums are not to make any post promoting, endorsing or advertising other businesses, clans, groups or otherwise without the express written consent of the Gentlemen Warriors ownership. This includes posting images, sigs, links or other media that would include the aforementioned items.

JAG ACTIONS: At the discretion of the governing body of GW (made up of select officers) any member who violates the Gentlemen Warrior's Charter, Rules and/or Bylaws may have their membership immediately revoked, or in its place, a JAG action may be implemented where the member will be permitted to state their case. After such time, if the member is found complicit and subject to the severity of the violation a member may have their membership revoked from Gentlemen Warriors.

Gentlemen Warriors =GW= reserves the right to change or amend these bylaws at anytime without prior notice to you or its members. It is each person's responsibility to check the website to determine if the bylaws have been amended, changed or updated in any way.
